Admiral Kit for Halifax United
Catherine Dickey, a Renewals CCR, recently dipped into Admiral Community Chest to support her daughter’s under 16 girls soccer team, Halifax County United. Catherine’s oldest daughter, Ashley made the competitive soccer team this year so Catherine applied to the Community Chest for funding for the team.
Ashley plays for the Tier 2 team and with the money Catherine received through the scheme the team were able to buy Adidas training jackets and kit bags for the girls.
Catherine said, “The girls were absolutely thrilled to be able to get jackets and bags for the team. A lot of the clubs have jackets so it’s really great to see our girls arrive in their own team jackets. It really brings them together and fosters a team spirit. And, my daughter tells me that I am the most popular ‘soccer mom’ this year!
“I’d like to say thank you so much to Admiral for the wonderful gift for our team, it is greatly appreciated. The other parents have all been asking me about where I work too!”
